Interior framing is going up!  Electricians are busily installing, millworkers are getting geared up, exterior cladding should start soon.  Interior partitions always come as a bit of a shock.  The single vast space is reduced to smaller areas that feel compressed despite the size of the house.  Once the boarding goes up, it’ll require another psychic shift, but all feelings of compression should be released with painting.  I never seem to get used to it, even though I know it’s coming.
